Brisbane’s latest $3.6 billion multipurpose residential & entertainment precinct currently under construction. It is the largest development undertaken in Qld and includes the largest casino resort in Australia.
The mixed-use development will feature 2,000 apartments, 1,100 hotel rooms and a casino. The project also includes a 1,500 seat-ballroom and a sky-deck observation platform with 360 degree views.
Unisons floor & wall expansion joints and water proof movement joint seals were approved and specified for the project.
Unison have had a long association with the Main Contractor – Multiplex since 2001. Master Floor Preparers installation team are licensed Unison contractors. Within the Casino gaming floor Unison supplied wall & floor mechanical expansion systems and movement joint seals.
The floor cover plates were Gold anodised to compliment the architectural aesthetics.
The Cherry Bar located in the Casino
required a hospital grade expansion joint seal.
Unisons MoDL anti-pathogenic movement seal was chosen. The expansion seal is available in a variety
of colors and is compatible with Tiles, Vinyl, Carpet & Epoxy floor
finishes.
