Our 100% Waterproof Seal for Water Holding Facilities

Aquo P®: This specially formulated polyethylene foam waterseal expansion joint is certified in conformance with AS/NZS 4020:2018 Contact with Drinking Water Test. Where traditional waterseals leak (at junctions and upturns), Aquo P® uses simple, quality welding technology. Aquo P® has UV inhibitors for longevity and when correctly installed the system provides a 100% waterproof expansion joint seal. The Aquo P® Plug has been tested under a 10 metre head of water and requires no backing in the form of caulking or similar to support its pressure restraint. Aquo P® also provides pressure resistance bidirectionally. It is ideal for water holding facilities and replacing problematic glands on expansion joints in swimming pools. Aquo P® is manufactured and cut-to-size from sheets of specially formulated foam. The process is carried out at Unison’s Brisbane facility where the sheets are stocked. Lead times are dramatically improved against extruded seals, as size variants are not required.
