Equinix SY5 stands as the largest data centre facility operated by Equinix in Australia. As part of the company’s expansive Sydney metro network—comprising eight interconnected data centres—SY5 delivers extensive capacity, high-density colocation, and robust interconnection services.

Located in Sydney’s business and technology hub, SY5 is a multi-story, purpose-built facility designed to support critical IT infrastructure. It offers world-class security, power reliability, and advanced cooling systems, making it a premier choice for enterprise and cloud providers alike.

We have supplied over 700 metres of fire-rated expansion joints, installed in a variety of sizes and fire ratings. The systems incorporate intumescent strips and fire barrier expansion joint blankets. All products are certified to meet AS 1530.4 and BS 476 standards.

NEXTDC M3 Data Centre – Melbourne
NEXTDC M3 is a state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne, positioned as a critical digital gateway for southern Australia. Like SY5, M3 delivers secure, high-performance colocation services with extensive power, cooling, and connectivity infrastructure.

Our in-house technical team, comprising three engineers, is currently designing the fire-retardant systems for the NEXTDC M3 Data Centre in Melbourne. These systems will be manufactured at our Brisbane facility in the coming month
